Conditions of participation and other important information
The masterclass fee and VAT
The fees of the master classes may vary, which primarily depends on the reputation of the pastry chef guest, as well as on the current inflation on an annual basis.
The listed prices of the masterclass do not include the 27% VAT.
Participation
Participations are strictly in the order of priority, a first-come, first-served basis. We can accommodate a maximum of 20-22 people on one course.
Booking and invoice
The advance payment of 100% of the masterclass price is required to secure your place. Your place is officially confirmed once you have sent us a complete registration form and after the payment (bank transfer). Any bank transfer costs are to be borne by the participants.
We always issue an invoice for the paid participation fee, which is sent to you immediately.

Cancellation policy

In case of cancellation due to a possible epidemic or an unforeseen natural disaster, traffic strike, flight cancellation, or any other hindering event, the masterclass will be held at a later date. The paid participation fee will be refunded or will give right to a credit, as preferred by the attendant. The credit can be used for another course of your choice in the 12 months following the cancelled one.

In the case of a course cancelled by the organizers or the guest pastry chef, the amounts already paid for the cancelled course will be refunded.
In case of cancellation by the participant:

If the cancellation notice occurs at least 7 days before the start of the masterclass, The Pastry Community may refund 50% of the amount to the participant.

If the participant cancels his participation within 7 days of the start of the master course, the organizers will not be able to refund the paid amount.
In both cases, the participant will have the possibility to transfer their reservation to a masterclass held at a later date. This option is valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation of the participation. Additional condition: the participant must follow the dates of the new masterclass and the expiration of the validity period.

What is not included in the price:

The cost of the masterclass does not include travel expenses

Duration and schedule of the masterclass
Depending on the topic of the masterclass, the class lasts two (2) or three (3) days, which is always indicated during the presentation of the course.
The course runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the latest. Lunch break 30-40 minutes.
Depending on the course of the daily program, the times may vary slightly, but we ask everyone to arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the course!
A few days before the start of the master class, we will send all applicants the most important information in writing (exact address of the location, dates, menu selection option).
Transfer of participation to another person
Participants can transfer their reservation to another person free of charge if they notify The Pastry Community in writing at least 3 days before the start of the course.
Gift certificate
The gift voucher can be purchased by paying the full amount of the master course. After that, we make a beautiful registered gift, which we send electronically. The participant can apply in writing to The Pastry Community's e-mail address and register for the masterclass advertised on The Pastry Community's website using the gift code.
The gift voucher is valid for 12 months, the deadline is always indicated on the voucher.
Taking and using photos and videos
During the master classes, photos and videos can be taken in which you may appear. These recordings will be used on The Pastry Community's social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram), official website, or for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be included in the recordings and do not consent to their use, please let the organizers know verbally before the start of the course and in writing when filling out the consent application. The professional recordings of the master course are available a few after the course on The Pastry Community's website and social media pages.
Participants may take photos and make short videos depicting detailed processes during the master class. But video recording of the master class and the entire duration of the event is prohibited, such video recording would constitute a violation of the contractual terms with the guest pastry chef. It is permitted to publish short videos and photos on social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram), and to tag the guest pastry chef and The Pastry Community, share and tag their names and addresses.
Step-by-step filming of the work processes during the course and its sharing without the consent of the organizers is prohibited.
